Chief Of Staff to the Delta State Government, Hon Festus Ovie Agas expressed shock over the passing away of the Ughelli North PDP Chairman, Lawrence Agbatutu.
Recall, Focus Naija reported that the party chairman passed on few days after a governorship aspirant, Kenneth Okpara was reported dead.
In a condolence message sighted by our correspondent, Hon Ovie Agas described the deceased as a party chieftain that believed strongly in the policies of the incumbent state Governor, Senator (Dr.) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa.
He said Lawrence Agbatutu was a very vibrant, brave and reliable party chieftain and prayed for God to grant his entire family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
AGAS MOURNS OVER THE SUDDEN DEATH OF AGBATUTU.
The Chief of Staff, Government House, Asaba, Rt. Hon (Barr) Festus Ovie Agas has sent a condolences message to the family of Mr Lawrence Agbatutu over the death of their son and father, Mr Lawrence Agbatutu.
Hon Agas said he was Shocked when the news of the death of Agbatutu hit his ears, I couldn’t understand myself because I never heard he was sick not to talk of death.
Hon Agas described the late Ughelli North PDP Chairman as a gallant soldier of our great party PDP who believes strongly on Gov Okowa even before Gov Okowa became the governor of our dear State in 2015, he was a very Vibrant, brave and a reliable party chieftain.
“I prayed God to grant his Entire family and the entire Agbarho kingdom the fortitude to bear this great loss. Rest in peace our dear Party chairman”, Agas further stated.
