Dino Melaye has reacted to the Court of Appeal confirmation of Natasha Akpoti as the winner of the Kogi Central Senatorial election.
Recall that the Abuja division of the Court of Appeal on Tuesday, upheld the earlier ruling of the Tribunal and declared Natasha Akpoti of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the authentic winner of the Kogi Central Senatorial seat.
According to Dino Melaye, the Court of Appeal has validated the judgement of the Tribunal which gave victory to Akpoti. He congratulated the people of the state on the victory.
He wrote: “Natasha is now Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Praise God. Court of Appeal validated the judgement of the trial court. Congratulations to all lovers of Democracy in Kogi State.”
