There is currently heavy security deployment at the state collation centre for Saturday’s governorship election held across the 21 local governments of Kogi state.
This is the sequel to preparation for the commencement of the collation and return of results from across the state.
Our correspondent who is currently at the state collation centre located at INEC headquarters, Lokoja, Kogi state capital observed heavy presence deployment of security operatives.
All the entry and exit points in and around the collation centre were barricaded with Armoured Personnel vehicles with armed riot policemen, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps supported by sniffer dogs took position around the INEC office.
