The minister of education, Adamu Adamu has come under heavy fire on the social media after walking out on the national association of Nigerian students (NANS) during a meeting yesterday.
The meeting was to address the ongoing strike declared by the academic staff union of universities (ASUU) due to the fact that the federal government was not able to fulfil its promise to them.
During the meeting yesterday, the students requested to be part of the negotiation and also asked the minister to work on an urgent solution to end the strike as students are being affected.
The president of the association cited the failing educational sector of the country as the reason many send their children out of the country to study, including the minister.
In his response, the minister said few words and worked out of the meeting.
Due to this, many youths have taken to their social media to hurl insult at the minister.
