In the wake of the tragic passing of the young artiste Mohbad, numerous individuals have begun sharing their experiences of being mistreated by industry superiors with Tonto Dikeh giving support to the campaign against bullying in Nollywood begun by Nkechi Blessing.
Nkechi Blessing recently took to her social media to address the issue of movie producers sidelining actors due to personal disputes.
Nkechi pointed out that some movie producers and directors engage in the unprofessional practice of denying certain artistes roles because of personal conflicts they have with them. Additionally, she revealed that these industry insiders sometimes go as far as advising other producers not to cast specific artistes due to their personal grievances.
Nkechi’s post garnered a range of reactions from fans, including fellow actress Tonto Dikeh, who responded by expressing her support. Tonto Dikeh acknowledged Nkechi’s concerns but stated her focus was currently on seeking justice for Mohbad.
