As Edo people at home and diaspora, seize opportunity of the day to celebrate Sen. Monday Okpebholo and his Deputy, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa on the occasion of their first anniversary in office, the management of Lightray Construction Company Ltd., has also put in good commendation while congratulating the government and people of Edo state.
In a message from Mr. Emokhare Ignatius, M.D Lightray Construction Company, who commended His Excellency, Sen. Monday Okpebholo for excellence and reformation in governance, he also described the governor as a God fearing man, driven by passion for development of the state to make Edo a better place.
The Managing Director, also hailed the governor for his transformational input in the areas of infrastructure which has seen to the facelift of roads across the three senatorial districts of Edo State, as well as embarking on construction of new roads in urban and rural areas of the state.
He also applauded the administration for initiating the first flyover in Benin City, marking a significant infrastructural contribution to the people of Edo State.
Mr. Emokhare Ignatius, in his message also reflected on the transformation that is taking place in Education, through the remodelling, renovation and building of over 60 schools just within the first tenure of the Okpebholo administration, which has once again reiterated committment by Mr. Governor to fulfil the promises as contained in his manifesto.
He commended the governor for bringing a new dimension to the governance of Edo state, in a manner that is rare, which has impacted on various sectors of the state, that has spurred significant development within one year.
In his concluding remarks he described the governor as a reformer who has revolutionised Edo state in many fronts which has positioned Edo state as a model for other states to emulate, in terms of SME’s, Agriculture, Infrastructure, Youth and Students empowerment and lot’s more which has made governance truly distinct.
Sen. Monday Okpebholo, was also described as a true and detribalised Edo leader whose leadership has continued to foster development, peace and unity among Edo People.
