As the world ushers in a new year, the Edo State Commissioner for Education, Dr. Paddy Iyamu, has extended warm congratulations to the good people of Edo State, commending their resilience, cooperation, and unwavering support for the ongoing transformation of the state’s education sector.
In his New Year goodwill message, Dr. Iyamu described 2026 as a year of renewed hope and growth, stressing that the Ministry of Education under his leadership remains fully committed to delivering progressive, inclusive, and high-quality education across all levels.
He noted that the administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo has placed education at the heart of its SHINE Agenda, and the achievements recorded in 2025 are testament to the government’s dedication to raising academic standards, improving school infrastructure, enhancing teacher welfare, and expanding learning opportunities for children in rural and urban communities.
