BENIN CITY: Ahead of the September 30th Nigeria Football Federation Election, a former Chief Press Secretary to Etsako Central Council of Edo State, Mr. Elias Inaede, has stated why Mr. Jarret Tenebe should be elected as the Executive Member representing South South Zone.
Mr. Inaede, made the submission in Benin City yesterday while fielding questions from Newsmen ahead of the election.
According to him, the emergence of Jarret Tenebe as the Exco Member representing the Zone will give a sense of belonging and direction to the people of the Region.
He asserted that if given the mandate to represent South South on the Governing board of NFF, Mr. Tenebe will encourage the development of Professional Football and ensure active participation of South South Clubs in any Nigerian Football competition.
Mr. Tenebe will ensure that the Zone benefits from the Personnel training that will be given by the Governing board to Employees.
The Former Chief Press Secretary also hinted that Jarret will use his wealth of experience as a former member of NFF in collaboration with the Board President to ensure that commercialized League activities are taking place in South South Zone in a bid to promote Footballers.
Mr. Inaede, noted that Mr. Tenebe is a round peg in a round hole adding that the Edo Born Football Administrator will promote the values and cultures of the game of Football which has been indentified as a major sport in Nigeria.
He posited that Mr. Tenebe will equally offer his wealth of experience to ensure that activities involving Football and other related matters meet the global standard in order to impact positively on the economy of the Nation stressing that NFF is a familiar terrain to Mr. Tenebe having been a former member of the board.
His words”. NFF is a familiar terrain to Jarret Tenebe and if given the mandate, South South Zone will feel the impact of his quality representation and the Youths of our dear country will be given the necessary encouragements to become Footballers” the former Chief Press Secretary said.
The Former Chief Press Secretary added that Mr. Tenebe is well equipped for the job and will take South South NFF to greater heights and will put Football first in order to achieve the expected goal with a holistic approach and professional execution to move the Governing board forward.
