The former Presidential aide to ex president Goodluck Jonathan, Comrade Jude Imagwe has reacted to the emergence of Senator Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the winner of Saturday, July 16, Osun gubernatorial election in Osun State.
INEC’s Returning officer for the Osun polls, Prof Oluwatoyin Ogundipe declared Ademola winner after he polled 403,371 defeating his close rival, Adegboyega Oyetola.
Reacting, Imagwe commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for ensuring a free and fair election.
I congratulate the Governor Elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke, the good people of Osun state and the PDP family for fighting for the victory of the party at the poll.
This victory is is a reflection of the popular candidate elected at the primary.
We must henceforth Elect candidates that has street credibility and accepted by all.
This election marks the beginning of PDP Victory ahead of Presidential Elections and the journey to free Nigerians from failed APC led administration
I also salute all security operatives and the observers. I finally commend the continues improvement of electoral process by the independent National Electoral Commission INEC.
