A woman identified simply as Tina has allegedly starved a five-month-old baby named Chidubem to death in a bid to retrieve the money owed by the child’s mother.
It was reported that the 19-year-old mother claimed that her madam seized her baby after she could not pay back the hospital bill she helped her clear.
Photos of the baby before show him looking healthy. However, after allegedly being seized by the madam named the baby lost so much weight.
The mother did a live video with human rights activist, Harrison Gwamishu, to report the issue. It took the intervention of the Lagos State Social Welfare and the police to reunite the woman and her child.
Sadly the child passed away from severe starvation. There has been no official report from the Lagos State Welfare as of the time of this report
