Tenebe Leads Protest As Police Blocks Abdullah Abubakar From Gaining Access Into Etsako West Secretariat [VIDEO]

The APC deputy state chairman, Jarrett Tenebe, today led protest when the police prevented the newly sworn-in APC executive chairman from gaining access to the Etsako West Local Government Secretariat.

The incident occurred as a result of a power struggle between PDP and APC, causing tensions to rise.

Abdullah Abubakar was supposed to assume his duties at the local government secretariat. However, the police on the of governor Godwin Obaseki decided to deny him entry.

In response, Jarrett Tenebe, along with other party supporters, demand the rightful access for the newly sworn-in chairman. They marched to the secretariat and chanting slogans in support of their candidate.

The protesting group voiced their dissatisfaction with the police intervention and accused them of bias. They argued that the appointment of the sworn-in chairman was a democratic decision within the constitution, and therefore, his access should not be restricted.
