Tension Grips Ibadan As Gunmen Kill Four In Different Locations [VIDEO]

Tension has gripped Ibadan, the Oyo State capital as gunmen, over the weekend, embarked on a rampage in different locations of the city.

On Saturday, gunmen suspected to be hired assassins killed a businessman at Akala Expressway, Odo-Onan Elewe in Ibadan.

The victim, said to be an operator of a Paga Business Centre, was murdered in broad daylight.

Similarly, an unidentified male corpse was found in front of the ATM gallery of First Bank PLC in the University of Ibadan.

According to News Carrier, the victim is suspected to have been killed overnight.

In another development, two persons were gruesomely killed at Mokola Hill Premier Hotel Road. Both victims were said to have been killed on Friday.

These sad incidents come as Oyo State has witnessed several attacks in recent times, with many perpetrated by suspected herdsmen. Places like Igangan in Ibarapa North West witnessed the brutal massacre of not less than 15 persons, including police officers.

The monarch’s places, a fuel station and other houses were razed, while a police station was vandalized in Igangan.
