These quotes become so apt at this critical moment that we received with rude shock and disquiet the news of the transition to higher glory of our revered mentor, father, and friend of all regardless of your status, Senior Prophet TB Joshua a legend of Faith, love and a Prophet of Purpose, a quintessential Transformational Leader, a Pan-Africanist and a lover of Christ. Who has gone to be with the Lord on the 5th of June, 2021.
Prophet TB Joshua to us is an inspiration and will remain an inspiration forever. This is particularly so when we remember his invaluable contributions to especially support Nigerians who are victims of human trafficking and Irregular Migration. He was one man who you meet and you go home happier. Libya returnees take you to be their father because you never one day rejected or shut your door against them. When they come in hundreds and thousands, you ensure your kind gesture goes around no matter the number without asking which church they attend like others.
A pan-Africanist, Senior Prophet TB Joshua believed and worked towards the African renaissance. He exemplifies the true essence of Christianity, demonstrated God kind of life. He was the epitome of humility. I can’t forget the first time I met him, very humble and gentle.
He was a passionate follower of Christ whose heart pants after God as the deer pants for the water brooks. He lived to see the lost saved; as an encourager, an intercessor, a minister of the gospel, a faithful follower and an example of the love of Jesus manifested through an earthen vessel.
As a prophet of Purpose, he believed that “The graveyard is the richest place on earth because it is there that you will find all the hopes and dreams that were never fulfilled, the books that were never written, the songs that were never sung, the inventions that were never shared, the cures that were never discovered, all because someone was too afraid to take that first step, keep with the problem, or determined to carry out their dream.” Senior Prophet TB Joshua lived what he preached. He lived a purposeful life and had many awards to his credit. He was an internationally renowned preacher and philanthropist Indeed, he emptied himself. He will definitely go to the grave empty
Indeed, this is a loss not only to Christian Faith but also to the entire world which currently seeks to build legacies for qualitative and transformational leadership rooted in the fear of the Lord.
Our consolation, however, rests on the fact that our father senior prophet TB Joshua is resting at the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ where he is already being commended for his good and faithful service on earth. May we all be comforted by this truth while trusting the Holy Spirit to minister life to his immediate families, SCOAN and Emmanuel TV partners all over the world in Jesus Precious Name. Amen!
