All Progressives Congress (APC) Professionals Council has held a two–million-man in solidarity for the presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu ahead of 2023 elections.
The professionals said the march, which held simultaneously in six geo-political zones, was to sensitise Nigerians on the need to elect credible leaders in 2023.
Led by zonal coordinators, with support from state coordinators, the supporters defied rains to show support for Tinubu.
Its Director-General Seyi Bamigbade, who addressed reporters after the march in Lagos, reiterated that the exercise was necessary to demonstrate the readiness of Nigerians to vote Tinubu as the next president, as well as re-elect Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in Lagos.
He said: “There is a growing call on Tinubu to take over the affairs of our nation because of his pedigree in leadership and management. This is a man who is the brain behind the development Lagos is witnessing today because he drew the roadmap which his successors are building on.
”This is a man who has raised leaders who today are occupying sensitive positions, forming the building blocks in the development of our country.”
Bamigbade, who was hopeful that Tinubu will be victorious in the election, said another mega march in support of Tinubu will hold before the year ends. He urged all Nigerians to queue behind Tinubu for a more progressive and united country.
