Umakhikhe Charges Edo Residence To Take INEC Voter Registration Seriously

Dr. Ernest Afolabi Umakhikhe, a former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and a former APC governorship aspirant, has urged the people of Edo State to take advantage of the ongoing INEC continuous voters registration exercise.

Dr Umakhikhe is calling on young people who have recently turned 18 years old and those who have lost their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to register and ensure their voices are heard in the upcoming elections.

Dr. Umakhikhe emphasized the importance of active participation in the electoral process, stating that it is crucial for every eligible citizen to register to vote. He highlighted the opportunity that the ongoing INEC registration exercise presents for individuals to have a say in the governance of the state.

Furthermore, Dr. Umakhikhe urged the Edo State chapter of the APC to mobilize and encourage its members to register during the ongoing registration exercise.

He stressed the significance of a strong and active voter base in ensuring the success of the party’s in the forthcoming election in the state.
