Dr. Ernest Afolabi Umakhikhe, a former permanent secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and a one-time APC governorship aspirant, has congratulated Muslims on the occasion of Eid-El Maulud, the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a statement, Dr. Umakhikhe praised the Prophet’s teachings of love, peace, and compassion, and urged Muslims to emulate his exemplary life.
He expressed gratitude for the peaceful coexistence between Muslims and people of other faiths in the state, and called for continued unity and harmony among all Nigerians.
Dr. Umakhikhe, a renowned expert in agriculture and rural development, also prayed for divine guidance, wisdom, and blessings for the Muslim community and the nation at large.
He emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence, tolerance, and understanding in building a prosperous and harmonious society.
