Utomi, Na’abba Set To Unveil New Political Party

Some political leaders under the aegis of the National Consultative Front (NCF) are set to launch a mega political movement on October 1st in preparation for the 2023 general elections.

The leaders include a former presidential candidate, Prof. Pat Utomi, and a former speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Na’Abba, among others.

According to Punch, Head of the Media and Public Affairs Directorate of the NC front, Dr. Yunusa Tanko, confirmed the development in Abuja on Thursday. 16 September.

He said, “The 2nd National Rescue Summit will be held on 1st October 2021, to commemorate the 61st Independence Anniversary of Nigeria and for the NC Front General Assembly to formally adopt its new mega political movement.”

The group also said it would use the occasion to remember its leaders who died during the cause of the year. Some of those to be remembered include: the Chairman of NC Front Elders Advisory Council, the late Dr. Ahmed Joda, the late Mallam Balarabe Musa, Innocent Chukwuma, Lady Rachel Oniga, among others.

The group is said to have adopted a political party and is working on remodeling it to fit into its philosophy of providing a credible alternative to the ruling All Progressives Congress and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.
