Why Protest Will Never Put Food On Your Table  – Adodo

In the midst of the ongoing nationwide protests in Nigeria, A USA based businessman, Chief David Adodo has made a bold statement that protest is not the answer. He argues that destroying government properties will not solve the problems faced by the country.

“Except you are planning to loot from the government or from hard-working Nigerians who struggle day and night to get to where they are, believe me, only lazy people depend on the government,” Adodo said. He emphasizes that self-reliance and entrepreneurship are the keys to success, not relying on the government.

Adodo suggests that even with a small starting capital of 5,000 Naira, Nigerians can engage in small-scale businesses, such as selling pure water or items at traffic stops. He believes that within two years, these individuals can accumulate over 200,000 Naira in their accounts.

However, Adodo laments that many Nigerians are held back by their ego and pride, which impede their judgment. He firmly believes that “only money commands respect, nothing more.”

In conclusion, Adodo’s message is clear: protest will not put food on your table, but self-reliance and hard work will. He encourages Nigerians to embrace entrepreneurship and not to depend solely on the government for their livelihood.
