2023: Pharmacist Joins Labour Party, Donates 18-Seater Bus

A pharmacist, Tobechukwu Justice Ehirim, has joined the 2023 governorship race in Imo state.

Ehirim, Tuesday, led his supporters in a road work through Whetheral road Owerri and arrived at the recently commissioned Labour Party state secretariat Owerri, where he donated 18-seater hummer bus to the party.

Speaking on the occasion, the youthful aspirant said he decided to join the party and donate the bus as his own token towards ensuring that Peter Obi emerges as president in 2023.

He said with him as governor in the state and Obi as president, the state and country would be better than how they were before now.

Ehirim, further said that before now, Nigerians were looking for who would deliver by bringing the country out of the present economic and political doldrums, and that now the person had been found, he should be given the necessary support, without asking “where is he from?”

The guber hopeful noted that Nigerians had tried nepotism, tribalism, corruption and other things, but it did not work, therefore a golden opportunity had come for Peter Obi to be allowed to turn things around for the benefit of all.

The National Vice Chairman, South East, Innocent Okeke, and the state Chairman, Ambrose Onyekwere, were on hand to welcome him to the party.
