Dr Paddy Iyamu, the Founder of the Dr Paddy Iyamu Foundation and a Chieftain of the Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has extended his heartfelt wishes to all Nigerians and the good people of Edo State on the occasion of the country’s 64th Independence Day celebration.
In his message, Dr Iyamu expressed his profound gratitude to the Almighty God for the gift of Nigeria’s continued existence as a sovereign nation and for the resilience and determination of the Nigerian people in the face of various challenges.
“On this momentous occasion, I join all well-meaning Nigerians in celebrating our nation’s independence and the remarkable progress we have made as a people,” said Dr Iyamu. “Despite the obstacles we have faced, our collective spirit and unwavering commitment to the ideals of unity, democracy, and development have kept us moving forward.”
Dr Iyamu also praised the people of Edo State for their steadfast support and contributions towards the growth and development of the state, and he expressed his hope that the Independence Day celebrations would inspire renewed dedication to the shared vision of a more prosperous and inclusive Nigeria.
“As we commemorate this historic day, let us rededicate ourselves to the values of justice, equity, and progress that were the foundations of our nation’s birth,” he concluded. “Together, we can build a Nigeria that fulfills the dreams and aspirations of all its citizens.”
