Nigerians should recall who Salihu Tanko Yakasai a.k.a Dawisu is and have a clue of what happened to him back in Feburary after he criticised President Muhammadu Buhari and the ruling party APC, over their governance and sluggish reaction to the kidnap of Zamfara School Girls.
Dawisu who was a Media Side to Kano’s State Governor was first arrested and detained by the State Security Service (SSS) before the Governor announced his termination as one of his Aides, for been a threat to the liberty and free flowing governance of the All progressive Congress(APC) .
His termination from the duty of a special assistant to the Kano state governor caused a lot of reactions amongst Nigerians back then, as some faulted him for not giving support to his party, while other people blamed APC for their horrible conduct and lashed out at the Kano State Governor for his harsh hands on the Aide. Just like a bird freed from his cage, Dawisu didn’t wait for his termination to reach a month before he found his way out of Nigeria.
On the 17th of March 2021, Dawisu wrote on his Instagram page that he is exiting Nigeria by saying, “Japan, goodbye Naija, Alhamdulihai” he also posted some pictures of himself in the Airport. Since his departure from Nigeria, Dawisu has being enjoying fun filled life in US, he’s being diving from one adventure to the other and hasn’t stopped taking pictures of the new places he’s opportune to visit in US.
Dawisu looks so happy and from his posts on Social media, one could see how much joy he is has a Man free of Political duties and one that can air his opinion without fear of Government’s intrusion(when not HATE SPEECH) .
