Allege Plans by Igiode Community to renew serial attacks on Uneme-Uzanu communities including blocking the access road from Igiode to Uzanu has been uncovered.
This plan, it was gathered is consequent upon inciting comments made by Senator Francis Alimikhena when he held a meeting with Weppa-Wanno APC leaders in his Igiode residence on Monday 4th April 2022.
At the Monday meeting where senator Alimikhena declared his intention for a third term Senatorial bid to the political leaders,he Alleged that the major bottlenecks to overcome in his third term senatorial bid are orchestrated by a prominent Uzanu son who is hell bent on frustrating his bid.
It may be re-called that Uzanu and Igiode have been involved in protracted communal issues that have defiled solutions so far.
In one of the instances, Igiode people blocked the access road and Uzanu people could not access their community for several weeks.
It is necessary for security agencies to take note in order to forestall any break down of law and order.
Igiode and Uzanu, Why can’t we learn to leave together as brothers and sisters. Moreso we are likely of the same position party.
