The 2023 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) received a proposal for a cosmetic surgeon category on Saturday night from popular media personality, IK Osakioduwa.
Osakioduwa spoke during the ceremony he co-hosted the ninth edition of AMVCA alongside South African model and Miss Universe 2019, Zozibini Tunzi.
AMVCA recognises outstanding performances in television, film, entertainment and now in digital content creation throughout Nollywood and the entire African content.

Osakioduwa suggested besides its primary role, it was only right for the organisers of AMVCA to create a category to honour surgeons who’ve employed their expertise to transform the bodies of actresses, making them beautiful.
“I would like to recommend one more category to the producers of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
“I would like to recommend that next year, we need to have a category for cosmetic surgeons who worked so hard to make these actors beautiful,” he said
