Anger, Concerns Over Appointment Of Senator Yisa’s Braimoh Daughter As Commissioner [VIDEO]

Divergent opinions have trailed the appointment of the daughter of Former Edo North Senator, Chief Yisa Braimoh, Miss Afie Braimoh as the Commissioner nominee from Owan East by Governor Godwin Obaseki on Thursday.

The Secretary to the State government, Osarodion Ogie announced the appointment in a statement.

“In a statement, Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq., said while the appointment of the Special Adviser takes immediate effect, the Commissioner-nominees will await screening and confirmation from the Edo State House of Assembly.

The commissioner-nominees whose names have been forwarded to the Edo State House of Assembly include: Chris Nehikhare, Omololu Ojehomo O., Braimoh Afie, Stephen Idenhenre, Osasere Evbuomwan, Donald Okogbe and Bamidele Obaitan.

 

However, the appointment of Afie Braimog may, however, run into some hitches or continue to cast a question mark on the integrity of administration of Governor Obaseki, if all the questions hanging on his appointment are not cleared.

In a viral video, Afie was seen Happy after she was called from abroad to serve.

The video didn’t go down well with Edo people especially Obaseki supporters who Fought for him during the last Governorship Election.
