Member representing Ekeremor constituency II in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon Wilson Dauyegha led a high-powered delegation of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bayelsa state to meet with Mr. Paul Eris popularly known as General OgunBos at his residence in Yenagoa

Hon. Wilson noted that the visit is to continue engagements with influential leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in the State.

However, sources claim that the visit is also to reconcile all aggrieved members and plan ahead of the 2023 general elections as APC plots to reclaim the control of governance from the People Democratic PDP the state.

TrackNews Online recalled that few days back Hon. Wilson met with the Leader of APC in the state and the minister for state petroleum Chief Timipre Sylva in his Abuja home. After the said meeting Hon. Wilson debunked rumors of his possible defection to PDP and urges his supporters to remain calm and be patient with Sylva that he has received assurances from him that the grievances of members in the APC family will be urgently addressed.

According to the lawmaker, “ my mission of meeting with party leaders in the state is to brainstorm and reconcile all aggrieved members and also to strengthen the party. Paul Eris is a critical leader in the party both state and National and has sacrificed so much to keep this party alive in the state ” We all know what he passed through in last eight years in this state and such people can’t be forgotten. There is no way we’ll talk about reconciliation and unity without consulting him.

“I have been here for hours…very useful and productive meeting.

“He as shown a commitment to work for the party in the state and also to contribute at the national level to ensure the party is well prepared for the election ahead of us in 2023.

“It was also to bring about all the areas of grievances, which is normal in any party, to help us unify and bring people together.” and I think we are making progress.
