Lagos State Government began test-running the Blue Rail Line today, October 14.
The Blue Rail Line is a 27-kilometre rail line that traverses from Okokomaiko to Marina.
The project started in 2012 and test run has now begun.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had said in August that the trains will be brought in from China in October and they will be test-run in late December.
However, it appears the project is ahead of schedule as the test run began today, October 14.
Sanwo-Olu said he will ensure the trains begin commercial operation in the first quarter of 2023.
