APC primaries Paul Afaghase Johnson declared winner of Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency

The All Progressives Congress, APC primary election for Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency, held in Igarra has seen Paul.Afaghase John been declared the winner of the primary after defeating the incumbent Deputy Majority leader of the House of Representatives, Peter Akpatason who scored no vote.

The primary was conducted at the party secretariat (upper secretariat road) in Igarra and it was adjured free, fair and credible as it was violence and rancour-free.

The INEC officials arrived the venue at about 9:45am. Also, accreditation was done immediately. The Numbers of accredited delegates were 45

Paul Afaghase Johnson pulled 38votes, Joy Aina Akande: 7votes, Hon. Peter Akpatason: Nill, Owolabi Adetutu :Nill and the total vote cast: 45.
