BREAKING: APC Expels Ex-governor Chime, VON DG Okechukwu, Suspends Former Senate President Nnamani, Minister Of Foreign Affairs Onyeama, Others
The All Progressives Congress, APC, has announced the expulsion of Barr. Sullivan Chime, a former Governor of Enugu State.
Mr. Osita Okechukwu, former Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly, Hon. Eugene Odo, an aide to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Flavour Eze, Mr. Joe Mmamel, and Mr. Maduka Arum have also been expelled.
Similarly, the party suspended former Senate President Ken Nnamani and Foreign Affairs Minister Geoffrey Onyeama.
Mr. Robert Ngwu, the party’s Enugu State Secretary, announced the disciplinary actions on Thursday.
He delivered the disciplinary committee’s report.
He stated that the report was approved by an expanded State Executive Committee meeting.
Members of the expelled and suspended parties were accused of anti-party activities.
They were accused of endorsing candidates from other political parties in the 2023 general election.
