A former Auchi Poly Student Union president, Comrade Sanni Kafeel AKA Nice, has emerged as candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) for the 2023 House of Assembly election for Etsako West Constituency 2.
AfemaiReporters reports that the primaries were held at the state Secretariat, Benin where the delegates gathered.
Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and representatives of security agencies witnessed the conduct of the exercise.
Comrade Kafeel got the party ticket through Affirmation.
A cross section of delegates at the venue affirmed that the election was “a confirmation through a democratic process of the earlier position when the former union leader emerged the party’s candidate.”
His emergence was later reaffirm by the party Presidential candidate and National Leader of the party, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso.
In his brief remarks shortly after the exercise, Comrade Kafeel expressed his profound gratitude to Allah, Leaders of the party and all the delegates for allowing him to get the party ticket.
Today marks the beginning of a new year and a dawn of new decade. It is a moment of reflection of our past, a time to explore new opportunities and rededicate ourselves to continue sojourning the journey of life to our set destinations
