The Edo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (EDSAA) has officially suspended O & O Media Limited from engaging in outdoor advertising within Edo State with immediate effect.
This decision follows the collapse of a Unipole billboard owned by the company at the Siluko Road/Ekehuan Road interchange, raising serious safety concerns. Preliminary investigations reveal that the structure was poorly constructed with substandard materials, making it incapable of supporting such a billboard.
As a result, O & O Media is barred from further advertising operations in the state pending a full investigation and structural testing of all its outdoor installations.
EDSAA remains committed to the safety of Edo citizens and will not tolerate any practice that endangers lives and property.
