BREAKING: Gunmen Kill Journalist In Ibadan

Gunmen suspected to be assailants on Saturday night killed a journalist, Titus Badejo, who also doubled as a popular radio presenter in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital

The journalist, according to sources was killed by the unknown gunmen at a lounge in Oluyole estate area of Ibadan around 9pm.

It was learnt that Titus Badejo popularly known as Ejanla who was with Naija FM, Ibadan as a presenter was reportedly shot dead by four assailants that arrived the club on bikes.
Oyo state Police command in a reaction to the incident stated that “at about 0730hrs, Sunday 20th June 2021, One Damilola Afolabi ‘m’, Manager at Club 407, Oluyole Ibadan reported at Oluyole Divisional Police Headquarters that on Saturday 19th June, 2021 one Titus Badejo Journalist and Freelance Disc Jockey with the club was shot outside the club premises by unknown assailants.”

The command in a statement by its Public Relations Officer (PPRO) DSP Adewale Osifeso stressed, “however, comprehensive investigations are in top gear to unravel circumstances surrounding the incident and to apprehend the assailants. Verifiable updates would be provided soonest.”
