BREAKING: Herdsmen Takes Over Benue

Social media reports indicate that a large number of Hausa traders and heavy duty vehicle drivers evicted from the Sout East states have taken over Ade Igwu, a border community in Orokam, Ogbadibo local government area of Benue state.

The reports also informed that the roads are blocked by the heavy vehicles brought in by the fleeing Hausa drivers who packed at the both sides of the road at Ade Igwu junction.

A social media user who goes by the Facebook handle, Ben James also reported that there’s no vehicular entering in and out of Enugu and Benue states due to the situation at the border town.

 

He wrote; “Igbo Sent all Hausa’s packing from their state..
All Hausa’s now reside in Ade Igwu junction.
Roads are blocked no entering into Enugu and Enugu’s aren’t entering to Benue…
This is situation report from Ade Igwu, Orokam boundary with Enugu state..
Biafra agitations continues.”
