The unidentified man, suspected of being a kidnapper, was killed in Obadan forest by the Nigerian Police.

The incident happened after the Edo State police command operatives, and the local vigilante group ran into the suspected kidnappers during a routine patrol around Obadan forest in Uhumwuode local government area.

The Police said the suspects specialize in attacking and robbing innocent travellers on Benin-Auchi road by Obadan junction.

The suspects allegedly invaded the locality on Sunday, 28 August 2022, at about 6pm.
