In a surprising turn of events, a Chieftain of the people democratic party (PDP) in Etsako East local government, Mr Paul Frank Aronokhale has announced his resignation from the party.
Paul Frank Aronokhale, who has served as both the Liaison Officer (LO) and Secretary to the Local Government (SLG) under the PDP platform, cited the ongoing crises rocking the party from the ward to the national level as the primary reason for his decision.
Aronokhale’s resignation has sent shockwaves through the local PDP ranks, with many party faithful expressing concern over the implications for the party’s future in the region. The Ward 8 chairman had been a prominent figure within the PDP, and his departure is seen as a significant blow to the party’s influence in Etsako East.
In his resignation letter, Aronokhale expressed his appreciation for the opportunities he had to serve the party, but ultimately felt that he could no longer remain a member given the turmoil engulfing the PDP. The letter has been widely circulated, sparking intense discussions among local political analysts and community members.
