As part of activities marking this year 40th birthday, High Chief Eugene Enofe, yesterday donated provisions, drinks and toiletries worth thousands of Naira to Cornerstone Of Hope Orphanage Home in Benin, Edo State.
Chief Enofe, a businessman and Politician, told AfemaiReporters that he decided to celebrate his birthday at the facility because of his love for children.
“My reason of celebrating this year’s birthday with the less privilege is not for any negative purpose, we’ve enough food to eat in our house but there’re alot of children who have nothing to eat or drink, so it is nice to reach out to these persons.”
Chief Enofe also called on Nigerians to recognise the less privileged, stressing the need for wealthy citizens to show support at all times.
In appreciation, the orphanage home thanked the celebrant and friends and prayed for more success in all his endeavours.
The event was attended by 2023 APC House of reps Candidate for Orhionwon/Uhunmwode, Chief Dr Billy Osawaru and Edo state APC Welfare Officer, Osaroboy Idehen.
