Comrade Jude Imagwe Reacts To Nnamdi Kanu’s Re-arrest

The former presidential Aide to Goodluck Jonathan, Comrade Jude Imagwe has reacted to the Re-arrest of the The leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The former NANS President in a short statement to AfemaiReporters wonder who advised Federal Government to adopt this approach saying his Arrest would not stop the struggle for Biafra sovereignty.

Imagwe stressed that his Re-arrest will left the Government with more responsibility.

He Advise the Government to focus on addressing the issues and meet the demands of South East Region.

There could be creation of the Southeast Development Commission. Adequately funded and managed by credible citizens from the region.

AfemaiReporters had reported that Kanu was arrested on Sunday and brought to Nigeria, the country’s attorney general Abubakar Malami said on Tuesday.

The IPOB leader appeared before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja.

Kanu, who was brought to the court amidst tight security, arrived at the court at about 1:40 pm.

The IPOB leader is facing a sleuth of charges, most of which are connected to his call for the independence of the southeastern region of Nigeria.
