Days After Resigning As Legislative Aide To Agege, Billy Visits Okowa, Says “I Am Home”

Former Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Billy Oghnebrume Egbe, on Friday visited Governor Ifeanyi Okowa at the Government House, saying “I AM HOME.”

In a Facebook post on Friday with pictures of the visit attached, Egbe, in a post titled ‘ Am Home,’ opined that it is time for “a new direction.”

Recall that he recently tendered his resignation as an aide to Agege, but did not state reasons for this decision.

Many did not see this move coming since Egbe, was a strong critic of the Okowa government and even named it the ‘Keke Government.’

His post added:

“Thanks to God almighty for giving me a new vision.

“Thanks to His Excellency Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for warmly accepting me into this new family.

“Thaks to my Big Brother and Leader, Mr. Hilary Obi Ibegbulem, Principal Secretary to the Governor, for lighting this path for me to follow.

“Thanks to my big Brother, Patriot Dantes Odogwu for the 24/7 love.”

“I have come to a peaceful, and more progressive political family.

“Thanks to my very dear friends and Brothers, Chuks Emegha , Elvis Akpobi Majority and a host of others for their tolerance and friendship.

” am home!,” he added
