Dont’t Use Me To Badmouth My Uncle, Made Kuti Hits Mr P

Made Kuti, grandson of Afrobeat icon, Fela Anikulapo Kuti has set singer Peter Okoye aka Mr P straight about using him as a slight tool in his fracas with his uncle, Seun Kuti.

He warned the PSquare twin not to involve his family members in his barrage with Seun Kuti.

Mr P and Seun Kuti have engaged in heated exchange online all day after the latter chided the former for campaigning for the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi who he tagged an opportunist.

He accused the PSquare brothers of only being interested in what they’ll get from rich men and politicians whom he noted they’ve had close affiliations in time past.

Big Bird submitted the twin singing sensation, particularly; Peter Okoye had no moral justification to tell people who to vote especially since they’ve had dealings with those individuals who create hardship in the country.

But Mr P in a series of Twitter posts, which now has nine parts, tagged Seun Kuti as ‘frustrated’ urging him to pray to his deity to take away the bitterness from his heart and change his life situation.

He said Big Bird would be an unknown entity if it were not for his iconic dad but he and his brother have worked hard to imprint their names in the sands of time.

Mr P advised Kuti to learn decorum from his nephew Made Kuti and leave other people ready to campaign for their preferred presidential candidate alone.

He also referred to the Afrikan Shrine as local as he lashed at the Egypt 80 band leader.

Weighing in on the online dispute, Made Kuti warned Mr P not to use him as a tool to badmouth his uncle.

He said they hav a united family and would always be so.

“Good afternoon, please don’t use me as a tool to slight, insult, or bad mouth my Uncle. I’m not sure how we are perceived so I should clarify that we stay united as a family and we intend on keeping it that way. Thank you.”
