It was a groundbreaking moment as Comrade Erasmus Ikhide, Mr. Alaba Ogedegbe, and others officially joined the PDP family in Ward 07 Owan West LGA of Edo State.
On hand to receive the decampees was the Executive Chairman of Owan West LGA Council Hon. Dickson Idojemu Ahonsi joined by the Ward Executives, Councillor, Supervisor, and other political appointees.
Speaking on behalf of the decampees, Com. Erasmus Ikhide expressed joy and excitement to be part of the PDP family and their desire to work assiduously with the party governorship candidate Dr. Asue Ighodalo and his running mate Barr. Osarodion Ogie.
While coming the decampees to the PDP, the Executive Chairman of Owan West LGA Council Hon. Dickson Idojemu Ahonsi thanked the decampees for being part of the party ahead of the governorship election scheduled for 21st September 2024. Noting that their desire to be part of the party at this point is the right choice as the party governorship candidate Dr. Asue Ighodalo stands tall among other candidates and has also won the hearts of the majority of Edo People owing to his unique and astute qualities that stands him out.
The Council Boss further noted that having joined the party, they have equal rights with other members of the party. And urged them to continue the membership drive for the party to ensure victory for the party and its candidates.
