Edo State APC chairman, Jarrett Tenebe, has come out strongly against former Governor Godwin Obaseki and his supporters, describing them as a “brood of vipers” that need to be dealt with severely.
Tenebe expressed his frustration with the deplorable state of some schools in Benin City, blaming Obaseki for neglecting them during his eight years in office.
According to Tenebe, Obaseki failed to renovate schools or hire teachers, leading to overcrowded classrooms and substandard education. He criticized Obaseki for prioritizing personal interests over the well-being of the people of Edo State, accusing him of squandering state funds without any tangible development to show for it.
Tenebe called on the people of Edo State to support Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo in his efforts to move the state forward.
He praised Okpebholo for taking immediate action and urged residents to work together to build a better future for the state.
