A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Orhionmwon local government, Dr. Stephen Idehen, has congratulated Senator Monday Okpebholo and Hon. Dennis Idahosa on their victory in the recent Edo State governorship election.
Okpebholo and Idahosa were elected as the governor-elect and deputy governor-elect, respectively, in the closely-contested poll held last Saturday.
In a statement, Dr. Idehen, who is youth mobilizer in All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, commended the winners for their hard-fought campaign and ultimate success at the polls. He praised their commitment to the progressive ideals of the party and expressed confidence in their ability to lead Edo State to greater heights.
Dr. Idehen also called on other candidates who contested the election to accept the outcome gracefully and work alongside the governor-elect and his team for the overall development of the state.
He emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation in addressing the pressing issues facing Edo, urging all stakeholders to put aside their differences and focus on the collective wellbeing of the people.
