Edo Guber: APC Governorship Candidate Promises Transformation for Udaba-Osomegbe

In the continuation of the APC ward-to-ward campaign, Senator Monday Okpebholo, the gubernatorial candidate, made a stop at Udaba Ward 8 in Etsako Central, where he assured the residents of a transformative vision for their communities.

Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Okpebholo emphasized that Udagba was his home and that he had discussed the need to link Ugboha to Anegbette with his leader, Adams Oshiomole. He promised to address insecurity, provide healthcare, support market women with soft loans, restore mechanized agriculture, and employ teachers, pledging a transformative agenda for the Edo people

Adams Oshiomole, the former governor, at the rally, recalled a warning from Hon. Donald Osikhena about the choice of Governor Godwin Obaseki in 2016, stating that Osikhena’s concerns had been proven right by Governor Obaseki

Oshiomole said Okpebholo will not forget the people of Udagba, Osomegbe, and other communities, vowing to be ashamed if he failed to deliver on his commitments.

Reminiscing about his car breaking down on the way to a campaign in Anegbette. He had promised to construct the road, and that is why we can now drive from Ugbekpe Ekperi in less than 20minutes, assured the people that the Udaba-Osomegbe road would be built under Okpebholo leadership.

Oshiomole also highlighted his appointment of many people from the Ekperi communities to various positions during his time as governor, citing it as a testament to his love for the your people.

Hon. Donald Osikhena, the former commissioner under Adams Oshiomole, declared that Ward 8 in Etsako Central was 100% secured for the APC. The member representing Etsako Central in the state assembly, Hon. Ahmed Waziri, described Okpebholo as a gentleman who would continue from where Oshiomole left off, thanking the former governor for the construction of the Anegbette road.

Former state assembly member Damian Lawan expressed confidence that the first massive results would come from Udaba, urging the APC not to forget the Udaba-Osomegbe area. Former Etsako Central chairman Hon. Joseph Ughioke also thanked Oshiomole for the infrastructure development and assured the APC of victory.
