…rehabilitation of Amufi begins Tuesday
The Ikpoba-Okha Local Government has completed the rehabilitation of Covenant Road in Ward 1 of the LGA
The exercise is in continuation of the ongoing Ikpoba-Okha road rehabilitation project for the 2021 fiscal year
Covenant road rehabilitation which started last Saturday, met completion Monday and the hitherto dilapidated road is now motorable and passable without hindrance
Residents of the area, including operators of Keke, who are frequent users of the long-stretch road have expressed satisfaction with the level of work done, commending the Ikpoba-Okha Council Chairman, Dr. Eric Osayande for his foresight
As promised, Osayande on Monday directed the deployment of men and materials to Amufi in Ward 3, another long-stretch road which rehabilitation commences Tuesday.
Receiving the team, Ohen of Amufi, Iyewuare Asenoguan Egharevba, appreciated the Council Boss for matching words with action; Ohen assured Council of his community’s maximum support, acknowledging Osayande as “a transparent infrastructural development agent”
