Edo Ministry of Education Resolves The Issue Of FGGC Teacher Mr. Jato George Accused of Molesting 11-Year-Old Student

The Edo State Government commitment to the welfare of all edo children has again been reaffirmed with the redeployment of one Mr jatto who was accused in a video that went viral of molestation and abuse

The Hon Commissioner of Education had earlier set up a committee to look into the accusations and also went ahead to follow through with the implementation based on the Government’s zero tolerance for molestation and abuse.

The principal of the Federal Government Girls College (FGGC) Mrs Tolu comfort in Benin has expressed gratitude to the Commissioner of Education, Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu when he played host to the school Principal and leadership following the swift action taken regarding an alleged molestation case involving a teacher, Mr. Jato George, and an 11-year-old student.

Dr. Iyamu had visited the college to address the situation and confirmed that Mr. George is found guilty and should would be redeployed immediately, in line with the State Government’s initiative to protect the girl child and all edo students.

He assured the Edo people that the state government, led by Governor Monday Okpebholo, has zero tolerance for any form of abuse and will ensure that schools are safe for all

Highlighting the importance of protecting the welfare of all Edo children, Dr. Iyamu emphasized that even though FGGC is a federal institution, the safety of its students remains a priority for the state government.

The principal expressed appreciation for the commissioner’s prompt response and reaffirmed the college’s commitment to ensuring a secure environment for every child in their care.
