The Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, in Edo state on June 8, 2021 at the State Party Secretariat in Benin City held an expanded State Working Committee meeting.
The meeting which was chaired by the Acting State Chairman Hon. Harrison Omagbon KSM, had in attendance the members of the State Working Committee as well as party Chairmen from the eighteen local government areas.
The Acting Chairman briefed the meeting of the state of affairs of the party and the attendees were reassured that the decisions and actions taken so far were in the best interest of the party.
He reiterated that his task as acting chairman is to unite our party. The acting chairman harped on cooperation and collaboration with all members of the party while advocating for total commitment, loyalty and oneness.
The Expanded Working Committee meeting commended the Governor on the template for appointments he unveiled over the weekend and moved a Vote of Confidence on the Governor, H.E. Governor Godwin Obaseki for his exemplary leadership and commitment to building not just a Strong and United party, but a state that would be the envy of all.
