We just received a sad report about a suspected yahoo-boy who used an indigene’s child from Sabo-Iyakpi for Rituals yesterday (Wednesday).
The family’s travail begun when the said boy who is said to be neighbors with the child’s parents offered to help convey the victim to school.
This the mother agreed to _trusting that the said boy will safely deliver her child to school.
Soon after the woman who is a petty trader at the Polytechnic had setled down at her shade, her guts moved her to check on the child in school.
On getting to the school, she couldn’t find her child and the teachers confirmed that the pupil has been absent.
She quickly called her husband and an alarm was raised which led to the raiding of Hausa Quarters (Zongo axis of Iyakpi) where the Yahoo boy together with his accomplices were nabbed and taken to the police station.
On interrogation the said boy admitted that the child was supposed to be his 10th and final ritual offering to seal his develish deal having successfully sacrificed 9 children.
The child is currently unwell and all moves to get information on how to reverse whatever spell has been cast on her from the suspected ritualist (Yahoo-boy) proved abortive as at the time of sending in this report.
