The APC senatorial flag bearer for Edo South Senatorial District, Hon. Valentine Owamagbe Asuen, paid a courtesy visit to the mother of the former Governor of Edo State, Madam Hajia Aishetu Oshiomole at her residence in Iyahmo, Estako West local government area of Edo State.
The visit was a lively one as the atmosphere was cheerful with radiant smiles on the faces of everyone present. The rich and warm hospitality of the Estako people was on full display.
Addressing his host, Hon. Valentine Asuen thanked Madam Hajia Aishatu Oshiomhole for the warm reception. He affirmed that it was a rare privilege to visit a woman of substance that she is who is not only a true embodiment of wisdom but of courage, strength, bravery, virtuousness and of motherhood noting that she is a mother to all including his humble self.
Hon. Valentine Asuen speaking further extollled her virtues and said he was deeply grateful for her words of encouragement and advice. He intimated her that APC Edo South Senatorial District have entrusted him with the mandate and privilege of representing them at the red Chambers towards the 2023 Senatorial elections and promised that he would do his utmost best to ensure that he delivers on his promises and agenda for the betterment of the people when elected.
Hon Valentine Asuen concluded by asking that Madam Hajia continue to remember him in her daily prayers and supplications as he goes on the campaign train for Senate stressing that he is passionate about putting smiles on the faces of people , wiping away their tears (that he has done as a private individuall) assuring that as a Senator of the federal republic of Nigeria, he will deliver the true dividends of representational democracy on a broader scale.
Responding, Madam Hajia promised to continue to pray for him as a son in whom she is well pleased, wished him well and all round victory in the forthcoming general elections and the strength to deliver his promises to the good people of Edo South Senatorial District.
