The Vice Chancellor of Edo University Iyamoh, Prof Emmanuel O. Aluyor has charged their Law school student, Miss Dinah Ayah to remain focused and resilient in order to bring more laurels to herself and the institution.
The VC who was represented by the Dean of law, Dr Mrs Florence Masajuwa gave the charge while receiving the 1st runner up of the 2022 Miss Afenmai Pageant at the University campus in Iyamoh, Masajuwa assured that the institution would support her in all her projects.
She commended the girl’s brilliance, charisma and resilience, noting that she was not surprised at her success as Edo University students are known for being very enterprising and result oriented anywhere they found themselves.
According to him, the new Miss Afenmai Tourism is known for determination and dedication to whatever cause she believe and urged her to sustain the feat while assuring her that the institution is proud of the honour she has brought to them.
Masajuwa, who commended the President of Miss Afenmai Pageant for the opportunities they provide for young people across Afenmai, through their organization enjoined them not to relent and congratulated Miss Dinah Ayah on her victory.
Presenting the new Miss Afenmai Tourism earlier, Mrs Amidat Ileger, President Miss Afenmai Pageant described Miss Dinah Ayah as a resilient and persistent individual, who competed several times before clinching victory. He described her as a queen who would be representing Edo and Nigeria at the Miss World competition soonest.
Also speaking, the new Miss Afenmai Tourism, Miss Dinah Ayah said she was overwhelmed by her victory and thanked the management for receiving her as well as promised to live up to dictates and demands of the crown and, to make the institution and the state proud.
