Hon. Edison was born October 8, 1986 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria to the family of Late Chief Clinton Dollars Ehie and Mrs. Salome Ehie, both from the Ekpeye ethnic nationality in Rivers State.
He got married to his wife Pharm. Cynthia Edison (nee Obuzor) in 2019.
EDUCATION
Hon. Edison attended UPE Primary School and later pursued his education at Western Ahoada County High School in Ahoada Town.
He graduated with a degree in Law from Rivers State University (formerly Rivers State University of Science and Technology) and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration, as well as a Master’s in Petroleum Law.
CAREER
Hon. Edison started his Career as a liaison officer with ZB Joint Ventures and later Ferzinat Oil and Gas Company Limited.
Hon. Edison’s leadership journey began as the National President of the National Union of Rivers State Students (NURSS) and later as the National President of the Orashi Youth Council.
His involvement as the Youth Leader for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ahoada East Local Government Area showcased his commitment to community service.
A multifaceted individual, he is not only a seasoned politician but also a successful businessman, farmer, and devout Christian.
He was elected to the Rivers State House of Assembly in 2015 under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Edison has consistently represented the Ahoada East II constituency.
