Elections: See Result From Ganduje’s Local Government

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has lost his Dawakin-Tofa local government council seat to the NNPP’s Engr presidential candidate. Kwankwaso, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

According to the results released by the council’s collation officer, Dr. Adamu Jubril Al- Hassan, Kwankwaso received 25,072 votes, defeating APC candidate Asiwaju Tinubu, who received 16,773.

 

According to the collation officer, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar finished third with 2,477 votes, while the Labor Party candidate Peter Obi received 202 votes.

 

Meanwhile, Kwankwaso has won nine of the ten local government council elections so far.

At the time of filing this report, the results of 34 local government councils were still pending
